Lemonade Gelatin

I love lime jello, but I hate the chemicals packed in that little box.

I know how to make lemonade from pressed lemons, and as it turns out you can turn it into jello by simply adding gelatin following the package directions.

I made a cheat sheet because I am definitely doing this more often, so here goes:

  • 6 limes or lemons
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 gelatin sheets (11 g)
  • 2 cups boiling water + cold water
  • 3 squirts of NauraBlue for color

Dissolve sugar in boiling water

Stir in gelatin until dissolved

When it’s no longer too hot to touch, add lime or lemon juice and cold water to total 4 cups. Taste and correct sweetness if necessary.
