Spiritual Family

Yesterday Paul Klawitter came up from Dijon to share with our Spiritual Family. The topic, Metaphors, was very insightful. We learned together about the Biblical metaphors of church (with special emphasis on the living stones metaphors), and we were lead to discuss some practical applications for our context.

We began with Worship through singing and reading several Psalms.

We had a carry-in meal featuring the salad of the season: Belgian Endives, Comtal Cheese, Granny Smith Apples, and Walnuts with a Vinegrette Dressing. Yum!

Paul’s presentation was inspiring, and the teaching time was fresh water for a thirsty crowd.

Through the interation we were able to see and acknowledge the spiritual gifts of several of our core group members.

It was a very touching time of reflection and sharing that drew our Spiritual Family closer together.

  1. I am glad to see that Salima and Cristophe are part of the group. I have not had news for a long time and was wondering if they were still in Paris. Larry
