Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

My all-time favorite Morris family cookie!
 

2 cups (400 g) sugar
3/4 cup (75 g) cocoa powder
2 cups (280 g) flour
175 ml (280 g) canola or sunflower oil
4 eggs
2 tsp (1 sachet) baking powder (levure chimique)
2 tsp (càc) vanilla
1/2 tsp (1/2 càc) salt

1 cup powdered sugar (1 tasse de sucre glace pour garniture)

Mix all but powdered sugar.
Chill over night.
Drop rounded soup spoon sized balls into powdered sugar. Roll to shape into balls and coat thoroughly with the powdered sugar.
Place a good two inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. (even if you’re using teflon, you’ll want to oil it.)
Bake 10 min at 350°f (190°C).
