Thanksgiving Pecan Pie

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Here’s a sample of one of the recipes we’ll feature at our family event.

Pecan Pie — tarte aux noix de pécan

 

Double this recipe for a French quiche pan, and bake 20 minutes longer.

3 oeufs

1 c brown sugar

1 cup corn syrup *

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

2 tb beurre

1 tsp vanille

2 C pecans

1 pate brisée

 

preheat oven 350°C (180°F)

beat eggs, add next five ingredients. Stir in half of pecans. Pour into pie crusts. Cover with the remaining pecans. Bake 50-55 min each or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
