Hocking’s Pilgrimage

Jay and Debbie Hocking. Last known where-a-bouts : Rue Saint Jacques, Paris, France.

After hearing our intriguing tales of pilgrimage, this adventurous couple decided to head off on their own journey of spiritual reflection.

Their quest: Walk from the famous Saint Jacques tower in Paris to Saintiago de Compostelle, Spain.

Ours may have been the last official sighting of this couple on their trip which they hope to complete in 81 days.

(Saint Jacques is the french translation of Saint James and the tower is so named because it is historically the starting point for pilgrims heading to Saintiago which is simply the Spanish name for Saint James. Voilà a bit of history and vocabulary.)
