Her favorite wrapping paper was the shiny silvery wrapping paper I wrapped my hubby’s gift in, and who wouldn’t blame her, it shimmered as it reflected the lights and it crinkled like one of her toys! So fun.
She caught on quickly… tearing paper off of gifts, grabbing at the boxes, playing with each toy before unwrapping another.
We spent all day on video chat, checking in with each family member one at a time and unwrapping the mini-gifts that they sent live as the webcam brought us together.
It was an unforgettable time of just remembering who we are and where we came from, and appreciating technology that keeps us connect together.
