Yesterday was an anointing service for Adele, Mickael’s mom. The doctors don’t have any hope for her cancer. Today nine of us prayed and fasted for Adele’s healing, then we enjoyed a nice dinner together at Mickael’s and chuckled together over some of the unexpected twists in the Bible stories about healing. The story of the Man Born Blind is a true knee-slapper in the right context. I’ve never seen so much sarcasm as that temple scene portrays, at least the way Mickael reads it. He had us all holding our guts with laughter. I’ll never forget this night.
