Hiking in Paris – The First Day of Fall

Photos Coming Soon. This post is intended to be a photo log of our recent hike through the forest called Fountainbleu just outside of the city of Paris.

Paris is surprisingly one of the greenest cities in Europe. We have a myriad of gardens inside the city. And we also have huge forests surrounding the city. They were preserved because the kings used to hunt and now they remain undeveloped as wildlife preserves. Ironic eh?

But they make great places for a hike. We met Frank’s girlfriend for the first time.

It was a beautiful day. Perhaps the last beautiful summer day of the year. Which is perfect timing since it was the first day of fall.

We saw remnants of summer and signs of fall, side-by-side.
